Biriato III, PRE bay gelding,
12 years old, superb sweet and brave
Biriato is a Purebred Spanish full paper gelding. It has a very pretty shiny berry color. He was born on 03/29/2010 and is therefore 12 years old. He is well in his head and in his hooves.
He measures 1m63+au-.
He is a well made horse, harmonious, balanced, beautiful, with a natural bearing and in addition, he is well supplied with horsehair which gives him a charm of the south….
On the track, he is really very easy, has basic notions of dressage, is determined and wants to please. However, it is accessible for all types of riders, even a less comfortable or more beginner rider because it is a calm and rather cold-blooded horse.
On a walk, he took part in one of our 3-day hikes in Picardy with passage through the villages (traffic, tractors, dogs, motorcycles, crossing bridges, etc.). He galloped bareback on the beach and never got carried away, never took the hand. He was ridden by one of our young riders (who has only been riding for 4 months) and Biriato really gave him confidence.
We also took him swimming at the lake and he enjoyed the moment that we had, immortalized by some pretty photos. He was ridden bareback, even galloping across a meadow.
He participated in the Joyeuse Entrée de Beaumont (October 2022) with brass bands, processions, cascading fire, drums, bagpipes. He remained super zen and really impressed us. No reaction, he trusts his human, he's a great walking horse.
On foot it is really great. We are in the process of teaching him the couch and the Spanish step and he loves to learn. He trusts and gives his all for his rider. A heart horse.
He doesn't board, bite, or shoot.
It rides very easily in van and truck (see videos).
He is not dominant, he lives in a box next to our other horses (mares, geldings, stallions) and he is very balanced. On a ride, he was in a small paddock next to other horses and he was impeccable.
He is in order with a Pure Spanish Breed ANCCE full-paper passport, title card, transfer document, registered with the CWBC, in order of shoeing, deworming.
